It’s not uncommon for the name Dietrich to be in victory lane at Lincoln Speedway. But this time it was older brother Billy Dietrich who came out on top of the 25-lap 410 sprint car feature Saturday afternoon as his younger brother and former track champ Danny crossed under the checkered flag in fifth spot.

Ventura Raceway Rained Out
Due to the heavy rains today March 11, at our raceway facility, the racing at Ventura Raceway scheduled for March 12, has had to be cancelled. We will now open our 2016 car racing season next Saturday March 19, with a full program of short track racing.

The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series event scheduled for Friday at Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare was cancelled due to inclement weather. As of Friday afternoon the Saturday portion of the event is still on as scheduled.

After being notified by the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions the three sanctioned events in 2016 at Fremont Speedway were being cancelled, “The Track That Action Built” is working to revamp some of the upcoming season schedule.

ASCS opener at Creek County Speedway rained out

Eldora All Star Speedweek date shifts to June 25th
Eldora Speedway officials announced today the NKTelco Speedweek Classic originally scheduled for Thursday, June 23, 2016 will shift to Saturday, June 25, 2016. The race will pay $10,000-to-win as the finale of historic Cometic Gasket Ohio Sprint Speedweek.

The Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions announced today that three events on the 2016 schedule have been cancelled. Events on May 28, June 25 and September 17 at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, have all been canceled.

Due to flooding and rain forecast till Saturday ASCS Gulf South Region officials along with staff from Golden Triangle Raceway Park and Battleground Speedway have cancelled opening weekend for the series scheduled for this Friday and Saturday.

The Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Southern Trailer Works has been dormant log enough, as the green flag is set to fly for the first time in 2016 with a Texas double header this Friday, March 11 at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas and Saturday, March 12 at the Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas.
