Bell Runs Season Win Total to 20 with Two Calistoga Scores!

Christopher Bell had never laid eyes upon the scenic Calistoga Speedway in California’s Napa Valley.

But, the 19-year-old from Norman, OK, definitely found the fast ½-mile clay oval to his liking, adding a non-wing 410-ci Sprint Car win on Saturday and then a $10,000 Midget triumph on Sunday night to run his season total to an astounding 20 victories.

The last major road trip for the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints will feature the popular 410 winged touring series as an integral part of two major racing events this coming weekend. Bolstered by increased purses, success in those events can lead to a big weekend paycheck in excess of $9,500. Dover Claims IMCA Sprint Super Nationals and Bill Smith Memorial Race of Champions

Jack Dover powered to a pair of victories during the IMCA Sprint Super Nationals last weekend at Eagle Raceway.

Dover, who competed for Rick Bowers during the 305ci event, opened the competition last Friday by advancing from sixth to third place in his heat race on the fast track. He then won the B Main to transfer into the main event during his preliminary night.
