Lasoski Finds Familiar Role With Friends From Roth Motorsports

Danny Lasoski has reunited with former car owners and friends Dennis and Teresa Roth of Roth Motorsports.

Lasoski, who drove for the Roth’s from 1997 to 2000 and then claimed the National Sprint Tour championship in 2006, received a call last week about hopping into the car for the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Texas Outlaw Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway.

Last Friday night marked the third outing for the Rockwell American #12 team and driver Jerrod Hull. For the team, it was a bit of a disappointment when they checkered seventh in the feature at Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, but they are set for when the Midwest Open Wheel Association takes flight again the weekend of May 2 and 3 in Lincoln and Flora, Illinois.

Trenca and New Crew Chief Set for Weekend at Can-Am and Merrittville

Joe Trenca is excited to return to the track this weekend with his x-factor.

Trenca noted that new crew chief Darren Schott has helped the Mucci Motorsports program since he arrived and when the team tackles Can-Am Motorsports Park in Lafargeville, N.Y., on Friday and Merrittville Speedway in Thorold, Ontario, Canada, on Saturday, it will make a big difference.

The Rislone URC Sprints will return to the Big Diamond Raceway this Friday night with racing action getting underway at 8 PM. Mark Smith of Tower City, PA won the Rislone URC event last Saturday night at the Selinsgrove Speedway, leading the entire twenty-five lap distance.
