Taking part of this first three-race weekend of the year, Chad Boespflug and his Paul Hazen team took their lumps, but the team continued to work hard and capped it off with an eight place finish at the Kokomo Speedway on Sunday night.

Chad Boespflug will be the first to tell you that he did not think he had a chance to win on Saturday night in Putnamville after the race started, but as the laps clicked off, Boespflug’s car came to him and the Hanford, CA turned Avon, IN resident scored his first win of the season.

Slowly kicking off his 2014 campaign in the Midwest, Hanford, CA native, turned Avon, IN resident, Chad Boespflug and a back and forth feature event Saturday night that ultimately saw him bring own an 11th place finish aboard his self owned, No. 98 machine Saturday night in Putnamville, IN.

Spending the week competing at the Chili Bowl Midget Nationals, Chad Boespflug teamed up with RAB Racing for not just his first Chili Bowl, but his first midget race ever, and when the dust settled on the event, the Hanford, CA native was ultimately happy with his performance.

Early last week, Chad Boespflug’s car owner, Paul Hazen, had an accident while working on the team trailer, and the result was a broken ankle, and the 57 car was ultimately parked for the year. Still hoping to race, Boespflug reached out, and found an open seat in the McGhee No. 17 entry.

With rain cancelling the season finale at the I 69 Speedway in Gas City, IN, Chad Boespflug wound up second in season standings, and then hit the Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday night, and tallied his second straight finish at the speedway.

Chad Boespflug and his Paul Hazen No. 57 team were in action for a pair of events over the weekend, and the team had a very up and down weekend.

Following a disappointing California trip, Chad Boespflug returned back to action in Indiana on Friday night, and scored a seventh place finish after starting in the 17th spot.

In what was a very busy weekend for Chad Boespflug, the Hanford, CA native scored a fourth place finish on Friday night in Gas City, IN before flying to California for a double header at the Calistoga Speedway that saw him score finishes of 12th and 13th.

Chad Boespflug had a great car and plenty of speed during the Kokomo Smack Down, but engine issues ultimately knocked him out of action on Saturday night while running in the top-five.

For the second year in a row, Hanford, CA native Chad Boespflug is excited to head home for the Labor Day Weekend to compete in a pair of events in his native California…

After taking a wild ride in Paul Hazen’s No.57 on Friday night in Gas City, IN, Chad Boespflug hopped aboard the SST Motorsports No.41 in Putnamville on Saturday night and scored another win, in what has been a dominant Summer for the California transplant.
