Fifteen months ago, Daison Pursley lay in a hospital bed facing an uncertain future. A violent crash during a midget race at Arizona Speedway in November 2021 left the Locust Grove, Okla. native with a severe spinal cord injury that jeopardized not only his racing career but his physical well-being, the consequences of which still linger to this day.
