On March 10 and 11 at Center of Progress Building in Syracuse, NY the 26th annual Motorsports Expo will kick off the racing season in upstate NY. One aspect in common is that the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) has been a part of each and every Expo held and for the 2012 edition fans will get to see one of the largest ESS displays ever.

As the holidays are fast approaching with presents being wrapped for family and loved ones, the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) was also wrapped for 2011 and years to come.

It might be a little short in notoriety but it will big in stature as the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints will make its third appearance of 2011 at Tiger Chapman’s Can-Am Motorsports Park this Saturday night.

On Sunday night at the Utica-Rome Speedway someone other than Steve Poirier and Chuck Hebing secured the limelight. Although at the end of the night those two drivers earned podium finishes it was Shawn Donath who stole the show.
