Gee Makes it an AFCS Weekend Sweep with Fremont Win
Skylar Gee made it a clean sweep of the opening weekend for the Kistler Racing Products/All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads Attica Fremont Championship Series presented by the Baumann Auto Group for the 410 sprints, taking the lead with just six laps to go to score the win at Fremont Speedway on Autokiniton Night.

Henry Uses Lake Race Heroics to Win at Fremont
Late in the 2022 season Cap Henry lost his sprint car ride. The Republic, Ohio driver didn’t know what the future might hold, but a conversation with Jeff Ward of Sandusky, who put together a team a couple of years ago, gave him new life in racing. The new pairing paid off Saturday, May 6 as Henry opened Fremont Speedway’s 72nd year on Johnny Auxter Opening Night presented by Iron Workers Local 55, Gressman Powersports and Level Performance with the 410 sprint feature win.

Due to Attica move, Fremont postpones season opener
Fremont Speedway has been forced to postpone its 2023 season opener originally scheduled for Saturday, April 15 due to Attica Raceway Park moving it’s spring nationals to April 14-15.

Fremont Speedway is the home of the Rick Ferkel Classic
Fremont Speedway will now be the home for the Rick Ferkel Classic, honoring the national sprint car hall of fame member and one of the original “Outlaws.” The Rick Ferkel Classic will be held at Fremont Speedway Saturday, June 10 as part of the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions Ohio Sprint Speedweek.

Fremont Speedway sets 72nd anniversary season schedule
Fremont Speedway will once again showcase a diversified schedule as “The Track That Action Built” prepares for its 72nd anniversary season. The action kicks off Saturday, April 15 on Johnny Auxter Opening Night, paying tribute to the hall-of-famer who competed at the track in 1951 and attended racing at the Sandusky County Fairground oval through the 2022 season.

Fremont Speedway to reward race teams Nov. 27; A look at the top 10 in points
The top 10 in points for the Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410 Sprints, Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints and the Burmeister Trophy Dirt Trucks will receive their awards and point fund money at an informal gathering Sunday, Nov. 27 from noon to 3 p.m. in the Flower Building at the Sandusky County Fairgrounds.
