Henry Slides by Marks on Final Lap to Win at Sharon

It was down to the wire for Cap Henry and Lane Racing in Sharon Speedway’s annual Buckeye Cup, ultimately scoring their first Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 victory of the 2022 season with an epic final corner dive and drag race over Myerstown, Pennsylvania’s Brent Marks. Henry, who led just the final half-straightaway of the 30-lap Buckeye Cup program, made his winning move when Marks attempted to clear a bundle of slower traffic in the final corner, opening the door for Henry to squeeze through on the bottom and out sprint Marks to the line.

Brian Brown won for the 57th time in 410 action at Knoxville Raceway Saturday night matching Steve Kinser’s illustrious win total at the famed half-mile. The Grain Valley, Missouri driver pocketed $5,000 for his win aboard the Brian Brown Racing #21. Terry McCarl, who will run in the 360 class this season, started off things in spectacular fashion with victory, and Tyler Groenendyk picked up his fifth career win with the Pro Sprints presented by Pace Performance on a cold, windy night at the “Sprint Car Capital of the World.”

All Star Move May 14th Date to Wayne County

ith uncertainties surrounding the opening of the Dirt Oval at Route 66 in Joliet, Illinois, the previously scheduled co-sanctioned event featuring the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 and the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series set for Saturday, May 14, has officially been canceled. Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, Ohio, will now host the ASCoC on Saturday, May 14. The Series will head southeast to Orrville following Friday’s Mace Thomas Classic at I-96 Speedway worth $8,500-to-win. Wayne County Speedway will award $6,000-to-win.

Nolen and Axsom Team Up for Silver Crown Effort
