USAC Silver Crown Championship
USAC Silver Crown Championship
There’s only one time per year where you can catch all three USAC National divisions on one track on one weekend at one time. USAC Silver Crown, USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Cars and USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets. Oh my!
The most magical mile of them all is the Du Quoin State Fairgrounds. That’s been true since the day it was built and remains true all these decades later as the USAC Silver Crown National Championship makes its annual once-a-year-voyage to the southern Illinois dirt mile for the Ted Horn 100.
There’s nothing much better than dirt mile season on the racing calendar. It’s a rare treat of high-speed racing courtesy of the USAC Silver Crown National Championship in front of the covered grandstands while the smell of deep fried Oreos and the sound of the Tea Cup ride fills the central Illinois air.
