An important phone call for Spencer Bayston followed the 2025 Knoxville Nationals. Uncertainty loomed as he’d parted ways with Jason Meyers Racing. The two linked at the end of 2024 with plans of a full year together, but the partnership didn’t go as they’d hoped. Struggles led to an eventual separation.
Add another competitor to the hunt for the 2026 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year. Scott Bogucki is set for his first season with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. The McLaren Vale, SA, Australia native will pilot the Three Stooges Racing No. 51 full-time with The Greatest Show on Dirt next year.
The 45th season of Avanti Windows & Doors USAC Western States Midget racing gets underway in 2026.
Twelve California events make up the series schedule between February and October at six different dirt tracks in the Golden State.
Winged sprint cars will be a part of all nine nights during the 2026 racing schedule at Jackson Motorplex. Five of those races showcase 410ci winged sprint cars with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series making its lone visit on Saturday, Aug. 22.
