Austen Wheatley has had a couple of weekends he would like to forget about as he now sets his sights on Sedalia, MO this Friday night.

WA shoe, Austen Wheatley spent his weekend competing with the All Star Circuit of Champions and also made his first stop at the Attica Raceway Park, and the youngster took his lumps at the Ohio facility.

Even with a disappointing finish, Austen Wheatley is pleased with his night at the Merced Speedway as the Lake Stevens, WA product scored a 20th place finish with the greatest show on dirt.

Fresh off of his career best World of Outlaw finish, Austen Wheatley struggled at the Silver Dollar Speedway as the Washington driver failed to make the feature event and was credited with a 15th place finish in the LCQ after pulling off.

Lake Stevens, WA driver, Austen Wheatley is not a fan of the Tulare Thunderbowl, but Friday night, the youngster scored an eighth place finish with the “Greatest Show on Dirt”.

Kicking off 2012 with the World of Outlaws, Austen Wheatley had a weekend he would like to forget about.

Austen Wheatley started in the same spot both nights.

Austen Wheatley started 11th and finished 11th in twin features last Saturday at the USCS Flip Flop 50.

However, finishing where he started wasn’t an easy task for the 18-year-old from Lake Stevens, Wash., who dropped to the back in both main events because of on-track incidents at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark.

For the second consecutive weekend, Austen Wheatley had a career-best opportunity come up just short.
