Whit Gastineau won the second round of the 2011 Oil Capital Racing Series season when he took the victory at Thunderbird Speedway.

Tim Kaeding passed his father with both front wheels in the air to take the lead, then fended off a determined charge to win the Golden State King of the West Series race at Ocean Speedway.

Jonathan Allard has already captured two sprint car racing championships this year and it’s only April. He has his eye on another title as well.

Racers will search high and low to create a competitive advantage for themselves. Oil Capitol Racing Series sprint car driver Kyle Cobb found his advantage with a set of Goodyear tires.

Jason Meyers won both feature races of the Lowes Food World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and clinched his first World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship in the process. Meyers is the first California native to win the title and just the eighth to do it overall.

Sooner or later they’ll change the podium stage used for the Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway. The new stage will have a spot for the runner-up, another for the third place finisher and the tallest step will have Tim Crawley’s name on it.

Two races remain in the 2010 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship struggle and, after crisscrossing North America for the last eight months, the racers haven’t decided anything.

Terry Gray and Matt Linder posted wins during the Senoia Summer Nationals event for the USCS presented by Goodyear sprint car racing event at New Senoia Raceway. The two-day event drew drivers from six states.

Craig Dollansky started sixth and was running fifth with six laps still remaining but he won the final feature event of the Magic City Showdown World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series race at Nodak Speedway.

Tim Shaffer won the 50th Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil with a finish fit for the Golden running of the world’s most prestigious sprint car race at Knoxville Raceway.
