GLSS at I-96 and Crystal rained out this weekend

I-96 Speedway and Crystal Motor Speedway – Crystal, MI have cancelled the Michigan CAT Sprint Car Division opening weekend for April 19th and 20th! The rain last night proved too much and we are working on rescheduling. So sorry we won’t see everyone this weekend!

Stambaugh Holds Off Hickle for GLSS Victory at I-96

Max Stambaugh won the Great Lakes Super Sprints feature Friday night at I-96 speedway. Stambaugh, from Elida, Ohio, passed fellow Buckeye State driver Devon Dobie for the lead on lap 14 and held off a last lap surge by J.J. Hickle for the victory. The win was Stambaugh’s fourth of the 2023 season.

Hurricane Hannagan Blows Away GLSS/NRA Field at Eldora

Randy Hannagan won the Great Lakes Super Sprint Tour/National Racing Alliance main event Saturday night during Family Fireworks Night at Eldora Speedway in dominating style. Hannagan, from San Jose, California, had built up an 8.304 second lead when a caution came out for a car stopped in turn three with two laps to go. Hannagan was unphased by the restart and drove away for his fifth win of the 2023 season.
