Xavier Doney added to his championship advantage Saturday night, capturing Night Two of the Sooner Shuffle at Lawton Speedway with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League. Utilizing a late-race restart to perfection, Doney led the final nine laps to earn his first series victory of the season and fourth career league triumph.

Kofoid holds off Macedo for win at Lawton

Buddy Kofoid led all 35 laps at Lawton Speedway and won the World of Oulaws feature Friday evening. Even though Kofoid led all laps, he had to hold off repeated charges from Carson Macedo through out the event. Behind Kofoid and Macedo was Emerson Axsom, David Gravel and Sheldon Haudenschild.

Rain and cold weather hampered last weekends AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories OCRS Sprint Car events. Friday at Thunderbird Speedway was rained out, but Saturday’s program at Tulsa Speedway was run despite temperatures in the 30’s.
