Following a rare weekend off the Placerville Speedway is ready to get back at it in grand fashion this Friday and Saturday, with a diverse double header that offers a little something for everyone.

The Placerville Speedway is excited to put a cap on the month of April with the annual running of the “Donnie Tilford Tribute” this Saturday evening.

Championship dirt track racing returns to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds located Placerville Speedway this Saturday night, with another four-division program ready to be presented with fans in the stands once again.

The El Dorado County Fairgrounds based Placerville Speedway is locked and loaded to host one of its longest running events at the quarter-mile bullring, with the 18th annual “Tribute to Al Hinds” set to take place this Saturday night.

It has been a long wait, but the time has finally come to present grass roots dirt track racing in front of fans at the Placerville Speedway, as the El Dorado County Fairgrounds bullring kicks-off its 56th season of competition this weekend.

One of the familiar partnerships in Northern California racing over the years has involved the Thompson’s Family of Dealerships support of Placerville Speedway, which continues this season with the company returning as a sponsor of the quarter-mile clay oval.
