Championship dirt track racing returns to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds located Placerville Speedway this Saturday night, with another four-division program ready to be presented with fans in the stands once again.

The El Dorado County Fairgrounds based Placerville Speedway is locked and loaded to host one of its longest running events at the quarter-mile bullring, with the 18th annual “Tribute to Al Hinds” set to take place this Saturday night.

It has been a long wait, but the time has finally come to present grass roots dirt track racing in front of fans at the Placerville Speedway, as the El Dorado County Fairgrounds bullring kicks-off its 56th season of competition this weekend.

One of the familiar partnerships in Northern California racing over the years has involved the Thompson’s Family of Dealerships support of Placerville Speedway, which continues this season with the company returning as a sponsor of the quarter-mile clay oval.

The news that everyone has been waiting for is finally here, with the official announcement that Placerville Speedway will host a limited number of race fans in the stands on both March 20th and 27th.

The El Dorado County Fairgrounds based Placerville Speedway will hear racing engines for the first time in 2021 by hosting a “Test and Tune” on Saturday March 13th, taking place from Noon to 4pm.

Russell Motorsports Inc. is pleased to announce that Placerville Speedway will utilize the Pit Pay Mobile Pit Pass App this season to help streamline the sign in process for teams and attendees upon arrival at the pit booth.
