Edwards Takes McDermand Car To Victory Lane In Badger’s Dahlke Memorial

It was Drake Edwards taking home the $5,000 first prize in the fourth annual Dahlke Memorial on May 31, for the Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Auto Racing Association at Angell Park Speedway. The event commemorates the lives of BJ Dahlke and his daughter Addison. The pair were big supporters of Badger, who perished in a highway crash in 2022.

PA’s Pio First Time Winner In A Midget With AFS Badger Series At Wilmot Raceway

Tracks Badger doesn’t visit often such as Wilmot have a tendency to lend themselves to first time winners and this Wisconsin three-eighths mile didn’t disappoint. Gunnar Pio filled the seat of former Badger Midget Series Champion Chase McDermand’s #40 and the driver/owner duo nearly swept the night. A veteran of the micro ranks, it was his first time racing a midget.

Waelti Finds Cushion Comfortable In AFS Badger Midget Opener At Davenport

For about a season and a half Victory Lane eluded former Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Series Champion Brandon Waelti. Not since June of 2024 had he collected a Lyco Manufacturing A-Main trophy from the venerable club.
