Mother Nature captured the scheduled opener last weekend. The high-banked oval hosts Spartan ER Night this Sunday when the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars, the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series and the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks fill the program.

It is finally race week at Huset’s Speedway, which kicks off the season this Sunday with the Mother’s Day Opener presented by Northwest Tire Inc.

The dirt oval would like to welcome Cressman Sanitation as the sponsor of the 410ci winged sprint car division, which will be named the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars. Wyffels Hybrids and Nordstrom’s Automotive both return as sponsors for the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series and the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks.

The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series season recently got underway in Florida with Huset’s Speedway sponsored driver David Gravel winning each of the first two main events.

The 2nd annual Huset’s High Bank Nationals will become the richest sprint car race in the history of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series next summer.

Each Casey’s 410 Sprint Cars presented by Big Frig main event will pay at least $5,000 to win and $500 to start with select events offering a bigger payout. Second place receives $4,000 with third place earning $3,000.

Huset’s Speedway will host approximately two dozen nights of racing in 2023. Several marquee events highlight next season’s schedule, which kicks off May 14 with the Mother’s Day Opener.
