Labor Day weekend doesn’t mean time off for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series. One of motorsports’ most demanding schedules marches on as the tour heads to Huset’s Speedway for the holiday. The Brandon, SD oval welcomes The Greatest Show on Dirt for the L.G. Everist Huset’s Shootout presented by Ace Ready Mix and Myrl & Roy’s Paving on Saturday-Sunday, Aug. 30-31.
The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series is ready to log some miles in September. The wide-open West awaits The Greatest Show on Dirt when the month opens as the tour heads toward the country’s left coast for the first and only time in 2025. A three-week trip takes the nation’s top Sprint Car teams to New Mexico and a trio of California dirt tracks.
The action begins on Friday with the Bull Haulers Brawl presented by Folkens Brothers Trucking featuring the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars duking it out for the $7,500 top prize and the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks.
Carson Macedo brought out the broom and spanked everyone with it in Minnesota this weekend. It began with topping Friday’s World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series visit to Ogilvie Raceway. Then the scene shifted to another Minnesota track, Jackson Motorplex, on Saturday for the World of Outlaws presented by Fendt.
