With February’s season opening events in Florida rapidly approaching, Robert Ballou is pleased to announce that he will once again contest the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Championship in 2025, but also has winged aspirations on his mind.

Robert Ballou took the white flag on Friday night nearly a half a straightaway behind race leader Kyle Cummins. Keeping his right rear planted on the Eldora Speedway cushion, the driver known as ‘The Mad Man’ wowed on lookers as he erased the gap heading into turn three, and edged out Cummins at the stripe to score his seventh career series win at the famed speedway.

Sneaking in races when he can as weather continues to hinder the Midwest, Robert Ballou checked into Indianapolis, IN’s Circle City Raceway on Friday night, and put on a clinic as he earned a clean sweep and won the feature by over eight seconds.

With the scheduled USAC National Series slate rained out, Robert Ballou and the Ballou Motorsports team made the decision to check out the reconfigured Lawrenceburg Speedway ahead of this weekend’s USAC National Series event. The trip paid off for Ballou as he raced his way to his first feature event win of the 2024 season.

Growing up in California, the USAC National Sprint Car Series’ West Coast swing holds a special place in Robert Ballou’s heart. While circumstances kept him from making the trip since 2017, Ballou made his return count as he picked up a win and tallied five Top-5’s.

When the dust settled on a grueling Indiana Sprint Week, Robert Ballou stood stall as he claimed the final event of the week on Saturday night at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN.
