Howard More Wins USCS Speedweek Feature at Old No. 1 Speedway

Howard Moore from Memphis, TN became the third different winner in as many nights by winning the USCS Sprint Speedweek Round #3 contest at Old No. 1 Speedway on Sunday night. Moore started third and then ran down early race leader Kyle Amerson from Montgomery, AL on lap six for the Iead, then proceeded to dominate the contest lapping all of the way up to sixth place in the caution free 30-lap event.

Brenham Crouch took the lead on lap 11 and found himself in victory lane to earn his first ever Lucas Oil POWRi National Midget League Feature event. The 15-year-old has been digging all year, he overcame a cowboy up track and a ninth starting position to take his Keith Kunz Motorsports No. 97 to victory lane.

Nienhiser Wins Sprint Invaders Main at 34 Raceway

Paul Nienhiser took a break from the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car series Sunday night, and emerged victorious with the Sprint Invaders at 34 Raceway near West Burlington, Iowa. The win was worth $2,000 for the Chapin, Illinois driver aboard the Scott Bonar/Midland Performance #50. It was Nienhiser’s fourth career Sprint Invaders win, and his third at 34 Raceway.

Smith Slides to John Carroll Classic Win at Skagit Speedway

Sunshine, sprint cars and fireworks were the perfect combination for an amazing night of entertainment on Saturday at Skagit Speedway, as IRI and the Follman Agency presented the John Carroll Classic. Cam Smith thrilled the crowd with a late race slidejob to win the 360 main and was joined as a winner on the night by Evan Margeson, Tyson Blood and Mike Macpherson.
