AJ Leseicki wins Tri-State Sprints main at Corrigan Oil Speedway
Mason,Mi (August 14,2026)- AJ Leseicki from Lorain,Ohio passed race leader Quiten Saayman from South Africa on lap 38 of the 40 lap feature on his way to victory during the Tri-State Sprints event at Corrigan Oil Speedway Friday night.
Leseicki started 4th and fell back early in the headliner as Saayman aboard the Blue #7 took the top spot after passing pole setter George Gustafson on lap 2. Saayman had command until late in the feature.
Leseicki regained momentum and began chipping away steadily throughout while Andrew Bogusz and Tommy Fedewa advanced. The 42L of Leseicki saw an opening and took command on the 38th circuit and went on to take the checkers with Saayman, Bogusz, Walt Obrinske Jr. and Tommy Fedewa rounding out the top five. I
It was a fast paced affair with the only caution appearing on lap 15. Heats went t Walt Obrinske Jr. and Andrew Bogusz.
