Sharon Speedway will return to action for the annual “Bill Kirila Memorial” this Saturday night (July 27) as the 95th anniversary season rolls on. Great weather is in the forecast as the “Super Series” program presented by Bala Management will feature the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars along with the Gibson Insurance Agency Pro Stocks, HTMA/Precise Racing Products RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, and the Whelen Econo Mods presented by Alcon Mechanical. It’s Bucks Fab and Mark Thomas Ford Night. Race time is 7 p.m.

For the first time since the scheduled May 11 opener, Mother Nature takes the checkered flag at Sharon Speedway. With early morning rain and a high likelihood of thunderstorms throughout the afternoon and evening, the decision was made to cancel Saturday night’s racing program. Unfortunately it was the second time rain claimed a “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management.

Racing action returns to Sharon Speedway this Saturday night (June 29) with a “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management. The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars will highlight the program and will be joined by the Gibson Insurance Agency Pro Stocks, HTMA/Precise Racing Products RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, and the Whelen Econo Mods. It’s Kams Electric Night. Hot lap/qualifying for the Sprints will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by racing.

The 42nd annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek is set to make a stop at Sharon Speedway this Wednesday (June 12). The FAST on Dirt Series will feature the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars presented by Bala Management for $5,000 to-win along with the non-wing Billy’s Garage RUSH Sprint Cars for $800 to-win on Diehl Automotive Night. Warm-ups are slated for 6:30 p.m. followed by qualifying and racing.

Mother Nature put a halt to what was scheduled to be the opening night festivities on Saturday night at Sharon Speedway. With a high likelihood of rain in the forecast throughout the remainder of the day and evening, the decision was made to cancel the kickoff to the 95th anniversary season.

Sharon Speedway is set to kickoff the 2024 racing season this Saturday night (May 11). The Hovis Auto & Truck Supply “410” Sprint Cars will headline the 95th anniversary season opener in a “Super Series” event presented by Bala Management.
