USAC/CRA RACERS CELEBRATED AT TEMECULA AWARDS BANQUET
The racers with the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series celebrated their 2025 season last night at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.

R.J. Johnson Goes Back-To-Back at the PAS
Leading the final fourteen laps, fifth starting R.J. Johnson claimed his second consecutive Avanti Windows & Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Car victory at Perris Auto Speedway. Driving the Petty Performance Racing #33P Sherman, the point leader from Laveen, Arizona finished ahead of A.J. Bender, “The Pride of Garden Grove” Brody Roa, hard charger Tommy “Thunder” Malcolm, and a rebounding Ricky Lewis. For his efforts, Johnson also earned an extra $500 bonus from series title sponsor, Avanti Windows & Doors.

Starting fifth, R.J. Johnson took the lead from “Chargin” Charles Davis Jr. on the fifteenth lap and shook free from all challengers to win the “So-Cal Showdown” at Perris Auto Speedway.

After crashing the previous night, Jake Swanson (Anaheim, CA) reclaimed the lead from Ryan Bernal on lap 23 and won the Sunday “California Sprint Week” feature at Calistoga Speedway.
