Knoxville Raceway has hosted the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars at least one night every June over the past 19 years – a tradition that continues this weekend (June 9-10).
The two-night trip to The Sprint Car Capital of the World in Iowa will bring the nation’s top Sprint Car drivers to Knoxville for the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash.
On occasion, one man’s misfortune is another man’s good fortune. That was certainly the case during Monday night’s second round of USAC Indiana Midget Week at Circle City Raceway in which three different drivers led the last full lap they completed in the feature.
Trey Starks was victorious at Skagit Speedway last Saturday. It marked his third win of the season and third straight 410ci winged sprint car triumph at the track to extend his lead in the championship standings.
Derek Hagar is now 7-for-7 as he’s won each of his seven sprint car starts this season. The impressive run marks the best winning streak he’s achieved in his career and it guided him to another USCS Series Speedweek championship as he swept all six main events the last two weekends, becoming the first driver ever to win each Speedweek race.
