The Red Clay & The Class Track.
That’s two tracks located in southern Indiana that you can instantly recognize simply by stating those two monikers. The first of this weekend’s USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship rounds take us to Bloomington Speedway on Friday, May 1, for the 19th running of the Larry Rice Classic. The following night, Haubstadt’s Tri-State Speedway will host the 13th running of the Spring Showdown on Saturday, May 2.

Aric Iosue Set for Full-Time Return to Oswego Speedway in 2026 in Former West No. 1

Supermodified veteran Aric Iosue, who has not raced Oswego Speedway full-time since 2018, will make his full-time return in 2026 driving the former Jeff West-owned No. 1, one of the newest builds out of the Hawk Jr. Chassis stable, most recently driven as the No. 32 by Bobby Santos III in tribute to Mark Letcher during last year’s Budweiser International Classic weekend.

Persistent Rainfall, Cold Temperatures Cancel Ohio Weekend

With heavy rainfall across Ohio bringing several inches of rain, and weather models showing more rain throughout the week, combined with unseasonably cold temperatures hindering track drying, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, Attica Raceway Park, and Sharon Speedway officials have agreed to cancel Friday and Saturday’s events.

USAC/CRA SPRINT CARS RETURN TO VENTURA FOR 550th EVENT SATURDAY

Ventura Raceway is the place to be this Saturday as the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Cars will take center stage at the seaside oval. The May 2nd showcase is the 550th event in series history and will also feature the Avanti Windows & Doors USAC Western States Midgets, VRA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Compacts, and VRA Junior Classes.

Making a last-minute decision to head to Muskingum County to race with FAST on Saturday night, Joel Myers Jr put together an extremely strong night that saw him power into the lead with just two laps to go and score his first win of the season with Hayward Motorsports.
