Huset’s Speedway

This Sunday marks the final weekly program at Huset’s Speedway prior to one of sprint car racing’s crown jewel events the following week.

Huset’s Speedway is 9-for-9 with new feature winners this season. There hasn’t been a repeat winner in any of the three featured divisions during the first three rounds of the season. Last year the first time a driver returned to Victory Lane occurred in the 11 th main event contested.

The first of four multiple-day events at Huset’s Speedway this season is on tap with racing this Sunday and Monday for the Metro Construction Memorial Day Doubleheader presented by DKW Transport.

A late afternoon storm has forced Huset’s Speedway officials to cancel the Mother’s Day Opener presented by T & K Transport, Inc. on Sunday.

Huset’s Speedway springs back into action this Sunday with the Mother’s Day Opener presented by T & K Transport, Inc. The track’s three premier divisions – the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars, the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks and the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series – will each kick off its chase for the championship that runs throughout this spring and summer.

The weekly program for the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars, the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series and the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks is likely to feature another battle throughout the spring and summer with the championship not being finalized until the final checkered flag is waved.
